Scarlet-X 1/8" TRS scratch run off

Hello all. Got a quick question that I couldn't seems to be able to find an answer for (and if it had already been mentioned on the forum, I will apologize in advance).

I have a shoot coming up that the client is interested to have an audio run off to three Scarlet from a source via 1/8" (3.5mm) jack to have a sync scratch. I already have a 1/8" TRS to XLR for my NTG2 which works perfectly, but I wonder if you guys can give me a pointer on what cable is available for audio in on the Scarlet/Epic from a H4N 1/8" out or iPod?

i would just do all 1/8 in extension cable for the 1/8 source to the scarlets in. you may need to split the audio if it stereo into each channel. i bought this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=orderHistory&A=details&Q=&sku=516259&is=REG for running stereo scratch audio from my audio recorder out to my scarlet.

any 1/8 TRS M to M cable should work for that.

Thanks Michael! Just read your reply and did a test, actually with my iPod, via a male to male, it works! Guess all these TRS XRL situation made me thinks this is more complicated than it is!
