scarlet tripod head connection

Hi,

I'm about to buy a Scarlet and had a question I can't seem to find a definitive answer to. Will the scarlet attach to my Manfrotto 516 tripod head as is or do I need a special mount to make them work together? I won't be needing a rail system, matte box, etc at first and will be only using light weight, Nikon still lenses. Here is a link to the head: http://www.manfrotto.com/516-pro-video-head

No rail system, no need for a Red plate. The 516 plate will bolt on as will any Manfrotto Pro baseplate.

Sure thing. FYI Scarlet has 2 3/8-16 connection points spaced 25mm and one 1/4-20, 12.5mm from the foremost 3/8.
