So I have orignal Scarlet files from the DIT/DMT and im just wondering if I myself or the digital information technician might have optimized or baked the media on first handling. Is there anyway to tell from the meida information window or the file itself? Im using FCPX. Any info appreciated.

Are they .r3d files? Cause if so, nothing is baked.

If they're anything other than .r3d, then yeah, they be baked.... cooked right through. Likely well done, unless it's a decent intermediary codec like prores 4x4.
