I got done reading the Scarlet manual last night. This camera does even more than I thought, so customizable. Anyway, I did a search on the forum before posting this, but forgive me if it's a repeat. I don't know how "democratic" changing the manual is, but a couple of things caught my eye. Writing operation guides have to be a little mind-numbingly difficult to make. For the most part the Scarlet manual is a good read and easy to follow.
One thing that might be a remnant of the RED ONE manual is a reference to Compact Flash on page 75 that might need to come out???: "on the CF or 1.8" SSD"
And I'm not sure if this will be added later somehow but on page 112 it mentions "Toggle ND Filter." I'm a little confused by this one.
Naturally, there are some other grammatical errors, which I'd post if it'd benefit whoever is putting the manuals together; just trying to help.
I did feel like I wanted a little more info on how to set the stops for HDRx, but maybe it'll make more sense when we get our camera. I also lost track of where I was in the menus around the introduction of the Zebras. I had to track back to understand where I was, but the other PDF of the menu hierarchy really helped. That one PDF on my phone is gonna be a time saver.
Anyway, just brushing up and trying to learn in anticipation. Can someone tell me if "Toggle ND Filter" is a feature that works and how? Thanks.
