Hey guys,
I recently purchased a second hand scarlet MX. With the side handle and red volts it powers on fine but when I mount a v mount on my back plate it starts to act funny. Initially earlier in the day when I first tried the fans would turn on and go for about 10 seconds and then it would go to off. I found a thread here with the same
issue that recommended powering it on with the red volts only then switching. I tried that and it worked perfectly. A few hours later I try the same thing and three things kept happening at different times: 1-sometimes it simply wouldn't turn on (fans go on for a bit and that's it) 2-it would turn on and run smoothly and about 1 minute in my red touch would go black and I couldn't record or do anything but power it off. 3-it would turn on but indicate an unknown source of power. If anyone could help me figure this issue out it would be much appreciated as this is very frustrating.
