  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

reviews for new Mission Impossible...Rogue Nation

Saw it last night & thought it was pretty good. It's definitely worth seeing. The last 2 MI have been surprisingly entertaining. The downsides for me is the amount of times he gets away without a scratch on him..makes it less realistic and takes you out of the film. I saw it on a 4k projector and it looked soft as hell. Oh and the shakeycam moments..

Hmmm, Alexa 65, Alexa XT, and 35mm film. Interesting.

I thought the writing was a little too predictable compared to previous MI's. Felt like I was being spoon-fed the entire time and never had to think for myself. The action and overall performances were top notch as always. Definitely worth going to see.

Very much liked it. I thought the 1/2 of MI4 was more epic in scale but the 1/2 of this was better.
Very fun and funny. Tom Cruise = gold.

Not a fan of the more retro style look though.

BTS was shot on RED.

Hard to separate TC the person from anything he's acting in. Don't dig him in real life so movie magic is mission impossible for me

I enjoyed it on the action end of it, but i felt the writing to be very corny.. i enjoyed the one before this better. it kind of reminded me writing wise of MI2 which i felt had great action but really poor writing.

Saw it on opening night, overall it was pretty entertaining. The fact that Tom Cruise goes to such lengths to perform his own stunts deserves much credit in my book.

do you know him in real life?

hes a super nice guy.. dont let his belief system put a bad taste in your mouth

I mean.. yah religion is wack.. but who cares.. if hes happy and fulfilled it doesnt matter

I met Tom in 2002 when he was with Penelope Cruz in Telluride, Colorado. He was bald with a beard so i didnt recognize him at first but both Penelope and tom were very nice, tom was very shy, said all but a few words to me.

+1, it's sad to see such great effort, talent and resources on a way too banal plot.
But the fishes in the aquarium need new food and they eat it.
