How can these guys be HUMAN? The fixed and turned around a camera in a nano second and rushed to get it out the door with 10 minutes left and it... MADE IT!

WHO DOES THAT?

my complaint is that RED customer service is making all other customer service feel pathetic at best.

SERIOUSLY: The level of service was INCREDIBLY MIND BLOWINGLY AWESOME

NO COMPLAINTS HERE! JUST THOUGHT THEY SHOULD BE REWARDED WHEN THEY DO IT RIGHT... and especially when its DONE MORE THAN RIGHT

OK (removes cap lock) , ill stop shouting now

Yep.....and you can actually talk to someone by phone when you call and troubleshoot a problem. I seriously don't know many like that....Well....only a FEW....FSI is one that comes to mind, but companies like these with this type of cust. service really are in class of their own.

Those guys are fucking magicians.
I love them all... after thousands phone calls they received me @lake forest personally after work hour to give me by beloved #812 in hands.
The RMA Support team rocks!!
Speechless!

cheers from Brazil

Job well done - take the rest of the day off guys

OK, have to admit, subject line scared me a little bit :)

Thanks, Tim, for taking the time to post this. I know Nick's RMA team and Fabian's repair group will be stoked to read this.

Yes the Subject is a off.... I hope people don't just read that and not your thread.

But cool to know that the RED fixit boys are on fire.

I remember a particular time when my _ _ _ _ camera took over 8 months to be returned... and the price !!!!!!!
If RED keep up this quick turn around support, Ill stick with them forever.

Some companies, an increasing few, actually care about their customers. RED gets it.

I wanted to add that I am also having a very positive experience with the RMA department...there attention to detail and quick response makes me feel in good hands...thanks guys for you hard work.

Ha ha, I was very worried by the tone on this one Tim, especially coming form you...

But glad to see that some one is actually stepping up and say THANKS to those that really deserve it...

I get replies to my communications for this guys and girls at RED at all hours of the morning and night, they either literally WORK AND SLEEP AT RED... Or THEY TAKE THE WORK HOME!!

This guys ROCK BIG TIME... Go RED TEAM!!

Yeah, second the sentiment.

With Jim at the helm, RED has fun talking the talk. Lets be honest, there's definitely a bit of bravado in the way they market themselves. But when its backed up by the kind of support we have received, man oh man, is it great. Having the world's greatest camera is one thing. Having the best customer support I've personally ever dealt with. . . well. Its why we're all here, isn't it?

Thanks RMA team.

The strong header was designed to get people's attention... I think it will encourage, if not guarantee, a click... I felt THAT strongly about how incredibly I was treated

I also want to call out specifically Madeline Standish (my bomb rep who kept in constant communication and Rory in the RMA dept who went above an d beyond getting my camera back out with 12 minutes left in the day. Just awesome.

With all the complaints on here that mostly come from the person not even giving RED a chance... I wanted to keep this thread visited often to remind people how good they are if they just give em a chance to make it right.

GO TEAM RED!

You are only confirming my suspicion that Jim actually found a way to clone himself and has an
entire army of little minions doing the repairs.

Here is the comparison:

I just sent in my Sony camera for a cracked handle. It took them five weeks to fix something
that is most probably a five minute repair job.

When I sent in my Red One for the MX sensor upgrade I sent out the camera on day before thanksgiving
weekend.
And with Fedex two way from New York to California return it took them FIVE DAYS.

Do the math: Two of those five days were shipping. One was thanksgiving, two were
the weekend. so we are dealing with negative time here.

SUSPICIOUS !!!

(but kind of entirely awesome :-)
