I have an original RedRocket for for sale along with a Magma v1 ExpressBox 3T thunderbolt chassis.

Disclaimer: I had some issues with the RR when I first transitioned to a TB chassis from an old Mac Tower. I do not know if this was something explicitly wrong with the RR card or if it was early Mac Thunderbolt driver teething woes. Anyways I shelved the RR for a while assuming I was out of luck and it was dead. However I dug it back out recently and hooked it to my nMP and low and behold it connected up and chugged away in RCX like a champ.
Before listing it I sent it in to RED for evaluation and their response was:
"Thank you for your patience during the RED repair process. Our technicians completed their evaluation of your RED ROCKET serial number RR-01828 and noted that the failure was caused by excessive mechanical stress possibly applied during improper installation or handling."
So there you have it.
