Lol...and yet we've had two epic x stage 2 for almost 3 months and no redmotes...ohhh the irony!... :tongue:

Happy for you Peter, but VERY puzzled why RED isn't prioritizing people who actually have received their Epics. That is a big disappointment!

Serious !!! ... No. 22... man.. I think you have been forgotten about mate.
Maybe a friendly chat to the boss might help.
To make it worse, I used EPIC X 430... ish.. and it had a REDMOTE on its bum.
I still haven't got REDMOTES for my "X"s either... , or side grips, or side grips....

Have you got a CANON mount yet?

All that FXPHD promoting you do for RED, you'd think they'd give you a camera kit for free to use and test and share the word.
That podcast must of helped sell thousands of cameras !

Lets hope you get one soon... even better yet, lets hope the RED BOYs turn the range up on it from 6 feet to 100 feet... so we can all use it to its full potential.
That's when it will be worth having ! , Im looking forward to that!

ahhh yep...the stockpiling of accessories by people a long way from even having their cameras while people who actually have them are missing out and still waiting on components is not good. Not 100% blaming people directly for the problem as RED should have been prioritising these things for people actually with a camera first, and if there wasn't such a dire history of accessory availability over the years it wouldn't be like this too.

In my "stockpile" I also have the coveted Canon Titanium mount, a sidehandle, a 5" LCD and a full FMJ cage.

These accessories will come in handy when my Scarlet-X arrives in a week or two. Several months later, my 2nd wave of accessories will arrive ... just in time for my Epic-X.

I post pictures of every accessory that I receive, for the benefit of Redusers. If they were all like you, i wouldn't bother.

Furthermore, I post theses pictures for the benefit of Red. I think it gives camera owners hope that accessories are indeed going out, and that there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Beyond that, it lets people know what they will be getting. (cases, cables, etc) After all, this is the unboxing section.

In this country we have a saying: "Hate the game, not the player"

In this case, the game was created by Red, and perhaps your frustration should be directed towards them, Sheila.

There is no shortage of frustration, and if that were all it was, I could relate.

Some people just need to grow a pair and direct their concerns towards the proper target.

I've just got zero patience for that kind of garbage. On several occassions I have loaned my gear out to people in the New York area that were unable to get the necessary piece from Red in time.
