I posted this in another area (Redcine) that has few visitors. I want opinions/experiences to be shared:

I am working on a color correction of a feature, and I am heavily using Redcine-X for the first step of the grading process. Needless to say that the current attributes and tools it has are fantastic.
However, don't know why, I just opened one of the clips in the last available version of Redcine, and I got really excited how much more perceived quality can be attained with it if compared with current version of Redcine-X.
If Crimson would have worked for me (it never did following step by step instructions), I would take a chance and do a scene on both (even with the disadvantages of Redcine, such as lack of FLUT™™™™™™™™, great histogram, new color and gamma, and the other goodies) and I think I will get better, more satisfactory results.
Am I dreaming, am I alone on this comparison? :emote_hippie: If not, would Red's goal be to get from RCX the same results?
