I'm running into a strange issue I can't seem to get around. Redcine x pro isn't exporting. I'll prep the clips into various export formats, set the export settings, hit export and then... the renders appear in the render queue for a brief moment before saying "finished". Only they haven't finished... and there's no file - not even a broken one - where the output would have rendered to.

I've tried multiple export formats, from several different different .r3ds (from multiple cameras), but still the same issue. Repairing and/or re-installing redcine x has done nothing to fix the issue.

Any ideas?

Chad,

Where are you exporting the clips from and have you checked the "in" and "out" points of the clips ?

Hi Rand,

I'm not entirely sure the problem is fixed, but I'm going on a limb and guessing that my video card (an Nvidia Titan Xp) and red cine x weren't getting along. Previously I was only allowed the CUDA option for GPU processing (OpenCL was "not available"). After downloading the latest Nvidia drivers, the OpenCL option is now available and appears to be working. Fingers crossed. Oddly enough, before updating the drivers, I was able to render Avid .mxf files with the CUDA option set, but nothing else (no dpx or exr, etc).

Maybe someone could elaborate why this works...?
