Hi!

I'm using Avid MC 3.0.5, WinXP Pro SP3, REDCINE 3.18, imported ALE files with all the details.

Did exactly what was written on the step-by-step guide (the most updated one ofcourse) - and after the transformation on XTrans - the XML list doesn't look like it's ok, and gives me "fail to load construct" - in REDCINE.

The XML list itself lacks clip & slot names, and has Reel ID that includes only the first 3 letters of the filename, which is not enough for anything!

I tried using the FS_Scan_REDCINE.xls instead of the FS_REDCINE_318.xls - and it DOES make a full detailed XML file with all the clip name etc, but it gets REDCINE 3.18 crash on load.

Maybe something's wrong with what's selected on the Global/Scan panels... Anyone?

Thank you!

Try downgrading to Redcine 3.1.5. The main differences between 3.1.5 and 3.1.8 is audio support and the new xml structure...

I'll have engineering QA look into these two threads. There were changes on both sides that needed to be rectified...
