  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDCine and 8bi files

I'm not sure what you are talking about? If you're talking about 8-bit output then this is already in there. Both in REDCINE as well as the QuickTime codec.
 
.8BI is the adobe standard for file format extensions.
Adobe and Avid uses these plugin modules to support different fileformats for I/O.
So I think he's asking if you plan on supporting this standard so the user can expand Redcine with these standard modules.
 
That would be a 'no' for the foreseeable future I'm afraid.
