RED V Raptor Electronic Variable ND Test​

Here is a quick test of the new RED PL mount with integrated Electronic Variable ND. This is the same amazing Electronic ND found in the larger RED Raptor XL. As you can see there is no color shift from ND 0.6 right up to ND 2.1. We used a LOMO Super Speed 35mm T1.5 and captured the footage at 6K.

We shot the test ins single stop increments, but you can make adjustments in 1/3 and even 1/4 stop increments to really fine tune your exposure, which is really helpful when shooting outdoors with quickly changing lighting conditions, or if you have a set of lenses with varying maximum aperture for instance.
