RED Rocket-X for sale. Used for less than 15 days of actual transcoding. Add this to your computer station, or use the Sonnet Echo Express III-D as an external housing and connect it to your MacBook Pro or other Thunderbolt equipped computer to leverage the power of the Rocket-X. Over Thunderbolt 1 on my Retina MacBook Pro from 2012, I was getting at least 1/2 6K Playback in realtime and ProRes transcodes at .8x realtime. Since the Sonnet Echo Express III-D is equipped with Thunderbolt 2, if you have a new computer, you'll get even faster speed. Equipped in a tower, you should get realtime or more.
RED Rocket-X
Accelerate your R3D playback and transcodes.
Ships with original box.
Sonnet Echo Express III-D
Attach RED Rocket-X, storage, or other graphics cards to your computer over Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2.
Comes with Thunderbolt Cable and AC Cable.
The Red Rocket-X retails for $6750. I'm selling this one for $5550. PRICE DROP: $5000
The Sonnet Echo Express III-D retails for $899. I'm selling this one for $699.
Both, together, would be $6249, and I'll include the custom pelican case, which includes storage for cables beneath the enclosure. PM me, or send an email to jjraabe at mac dot com.
