  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED rocket in action

Is there a way to output a windowed crop? In other words, a centre cropped 4k image, pixel for pixel to, say a 1080 monitor? Just for checking sharpness? I won't get to hook ours up until next week earliest, right now their boxes are burning a hole in the desk.

Potentially. Looking into it now.

In the redcine x video it looks like you can do simple editing, like setting in/out points for every clip and rearange cliporder for export. Is this allready a working feature or is this something which will come in future.

Is Crimson working with Rocketcine, or is there any other way available or soon to be available to conform to a FCP timeline ?

Looking forward to see the Fedex Truck soon :)

RocketCine-X is the first app that's out for it. The SDK has gone out a few beta developers and should be going out to all the SDK users. A number of companies are committed to developing for the Rocket.

Dual Link is live.

about beta resters...
Is that a mac/pc/linux sdk that they are testing?
If i want to get a company in tuch with you about linux sdk for redrocket, who should they contact?

Maybe this is the wrong thread but... Will red be at ibc showing some stuff?

Did anyone try RocketCine X with a 25 fps footage ?
I connected a Eizo 24" via DVI 1 to Redrocket set Resolution to 1920x1200, i get an image on the monitor, but as soon as you hit play, the monitor splits the picture and displays the parts randomly on the screen.
