Hello everyone.
I just wanted to post that we got a full underwater setup for Raptor VV last year, so far have only tested it, but water is getting warmer soon here.
I would be happy to post some BTS and technical tests here.
Some of the existing things we got
- Nauticam underwater house.
- WACP-2 Wet lens. This is a super heavy but exciting lens that gives the maximum image quality underwater. The benefit is also that you can film with f/4 vs normal domes that need maybe f/8-f/11. https://www.nauticam.com/products/w...with-compatible-14mm-lenses-incl-float-collar. Only problem is the lens is 7kg so carrying it to the beach will not be fun.
- We also got the this steamp punk setup called Nauticam Extended Macro Wide-Angle Relay Lens EMWL
https://www.bluewaterphotostore.com/nauticam-extended-macro-wide-angle-lens
It is very cool in the way that you can switch lenses underwater from everything from 2x macro up to extreme wide angle. It is really quite incredible since normally you would have to go up to the surface every time you switch.
Here in Cyprus we have some incredible beaches where turtles lay eggs and the water is crystal clear so I hope to explore it more this summer with Natalie.
Cheers,
Andreas
