Hello all,
First post here, I use the Epic Dragon so that's why I've posted this question here, but point me elsewhere if it would be more appropriate.
My 7inch touch screen has a hairline fracture from being improperly stowed away (pushed up against top handle) and now randomly acts like I'm pushing various buttons on the front screen (typically the audio mixing settings). Nearly every other touch screen option works fine, but this fracture makes it all but impossible to use cause it's always pulling up random menus. I mainly use the screen as a way to scrub through playback, change metadata, and view false color options.
Production is willing to replace the screen but since it is no longer made it has been hard to source, and I don't think they will buy the much more expensive newer model that works between DSMC1/2. Ideally I'd like to get it repaired, since the screen works fine still and is fairly new, but just needs a new piece of glass.
Could anyone point me in the direction of getting the screen repaired, or a place that sells used 7inch Pro Touch Screens? Thanks!
