  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Glidecam V-25 rig my school bought has a minimum load of 10 lbs. and, even though we could always weigh it down up top, I'd be interested to know if you guys have a rough total weight (with glass and attached REDFLASH and all the doo-dads) that you could throw out there.
 
We are pretty certain that the RED ONE body will be near, at or under 6 pounds. Glass depends on what you are using. We are still working on the rest of the system and don't have weights quite yet.

All you need is a weight base (just metal plate between the camera and sled), you'll see these on larger Steadicam rigs when they're flying lighter cameras.
