Hi guy i have chance here to buy red mx with 2000 hrs is that lots of hrs for red mx what your openion

Thanks

Remember that the time/hrs used is relevant to how long the camera has been switched on. Not how long it has been recording for. So, a full day on set will rack up about 8-10 hours on a camera, mostly with it just being on waiting for lights or actors etc. So call it 200+- shooting days give or take a few. That's a good three feature films... or some of the Hobbit shoot. ha ha

Get RED to check the camera when you buy it. Get the ownership sent over to you through RED. They will give it a thorough check before sending the camera your way.

2000 hours on a RED One is not a huge number of hours, but it's definitely seen some very significant work. Our camera has made three features and a number of other projects and a whole lot of tests and yet has just 1766 hours. Still, everything seems just fine with her at the moment. . . knock on wood.
