  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey there!

I am pretty new working with RED cameras and have actually a short and maybe stupid question on working with the RED Scarlet W.
I shot a project and on one of my three Minimags is a wired folder structure. On Minimag Nr 3 every clip is an unique folder.. I looked trough the menu settings and googled, but I found nothing... On the first two Minimags, all the clips are in one folder...

Would be great if somebody can help me...

Take a screen shot of the folder structure.

Pretty sure this is the normal breaking down of clips over a certain length/size down into chunks that fit into the Fat32 file size limitation. Red savvy applications like Premiere, Resolve etc will all recognise the multiple chunks as one clip, provided you use the correct method of import. eg. in Premiere you must use the Media Browser to get clips into the NLE.
