Hey I’m interested in using my red hydrogen as a monitor. I heard the hydrogen link adapter had some issues back in like March. I was wondering if it had been fixed. Red put out a video on YouTube about the adapter in April and all it’s features. Has there been any updates fixing issues with monitoring? Or if you are using the link with a phone what are you experiencing? Thanks for your time.

According to this thread, still not great.

It is a good backup, or for secondary monitoring, but not as a main. Mine sits in a case just to be prepared for the Komodo SDI to die.
Lots of dropped frames is the biggest issue/slight delay. Your focus puller will hate you. Used it with my hydrogen, but it is showing it’s age and crashing the app. Nothing like an app crash during a take. The location of it is also a pain at times depending on how you rig things up or accessories you use. I know one day it will bail me out of a terrible situation, so I am glad I have it.
