My ET Gold Mount used to show all data regardless of how old the batteries, but even the release firmware hasn't supported it lately.

A Red rep told me at Cinegear if you order the ET gold mount version, they will ship you the new Red version. The ET versions have been discontinued. Personally I'm waiting to see them in the wild (and how well they work with AB batts) before I order.

But how quickly will they ship the new one? Is it actually in stock right now or is that ET order essentially creating a queue?

well, they should be releasing the RED mount any second now, since I couldn't wait any longer and bought the ET one. you're welcome....

mine arrived in the ET form factor, not RED. just for the record. so the ET version is still available, not sold out or replaced....

That's a bummer to hear. I remember being told those were discontinued and would be replaced with the red branded version at cinegear by a red rep.
