Hello all!
I'm a film student currently editing some RED footage, so I'm very new to this workflow. I'm comfortable editing in both FCP and Avid Media Composer, so I'm open to whatever needs to be done.
I'm trying to export the RED RAW footage to something more manageable, and I've only been able to see the footage in Grayscale (through REDrushes and QuickTime Player). However, I've noticed that when in ROCKETcineX my saturation is set to 0 on every clip, and when brought back up, the image is in full colour.
I'm asking what exactly is causing this. Whether this is in my control, or if this was something that happened on shooting day.
Oh, and one more thing - ROCKETcineX quits unexpectedly during exporting of my clips...is there another alternative?
