At today's Microsoft Live Event, they demo'd HoloLens and used a RED DRAGON with some cool custom attachment that enabled the DRAGON to see all of the HoloLens 3D content on the stage.

VV Cool.

Check at about 12:00 minutes into the video. This image from 12:04 to be exact.

Thanks Michael,

I sent a pitch to the Hololens team in order to that I could write a HUD augmented interface to control (and see through) the RED Weapon (with a wireless HDMI).

It didn't qualify me for early access as a developer unfortunately (as I am a one man shop ).

Also asked RED for a single simple API to extend their wireless interface (that will mean that any surface will be able to control the RED GUI with almost no client side code).

As Microsoft have slipped the release of the Hololens until 'sometime' in 2016 (mostly due to a member of Apple now working for Microsoft to advise them not to ship H/W without a killer application) ... It looks like such a project (well at least from me) will have to wait until next year...
