RED.com Accounts
Under my RED.com account, I've got "Open Order" showing for items I paid for and received back in December. I've also got "Open Order" for an item I cancelled and "Invoiced" on multiple items long ago shipped and received. Under "Order History", I've got nothing ("No orders found"). I've had about 50 components and systems ordered from RED over multiple orders and it's impossible to track without cross-checking with my own inventory and copies I've saved of payment authorizations and packing slips.
I contacted my Bomb Squad rep about this and the word is nothing can be done. Instead I got a two page accounting file with funds added and deducted. I've now taken to managing a separate Excel spreadsheet and tracking my orders, payments, items received, shipping numbers (listed after-the-fact), etc.
This is even more a problem when/if I ever need to do a warranty RMA call. Without doing all of the tracking myself, I have no way of knowing if the order for my 256 GB REDmag, still showing "Open Order", is in warranty and [without my own records], when it was billed, shipped, and received.
This is core criteria stuff any cart and account system should have.
RED Order Tracking
None of the FedEx notices I have received have ever contained a single shred of information that could be cross-correlated back to a sales order. It's a guessing game when a tracking order gets emailed to me and I try to figure out the weight shipped to know what I'm supposed to be receiving. While this wouldn't be a major problem on its own, it's a headache combined with the completely broken RED.com "My Account" system.
Fixing these issues would save not only us a lot of headaches and questions, it would undoubtedly save RED a few emails and phone calls too.
