The RED ONE #7020 finally arrived today and shall be called "Renegade".

I think the name fits the camera perfectly. It came together with the Redrocket and other accessories. Can't wait to start pimping this baby. It needs to pay back this investment i shelled out on it real quick.

I guess I gotta sell my Letus Elite adapter now cos its all about the Renegade.

On the side note, I am looking for experienced DPs or shooters in the Toronto area who are experienced in RED to help with a music video shoot I am planning soon.

hi Scott

i ma thinking of getting RED ONE... have you ever have any problems with it?
is it straight forward to download the raw footage onto fcp?
have been using sony HDV until now..
big investment and a bit nervous!
happy new year

Dani,

We transcode to ProRes 422 HQ for editing in FCP. Takes time depending on what system you have to do the transcode. RedRocket helps and there is the new Adobe/NVidia option.

As for the camera itself, no problems at all. Have a few issues with my Red Drive, but they can fix it when I get time between shoots I will send it in. But I have an easy workaround.
