4k London for Mysterium-X Red camera hire, DIT services and post-production services:

http://www.4klondon.com/

At the beginning of January 2008 4K London became one of the first companies in the UK to take delivery of the Red One Digital Cinema camera [since upgraded to the new M-X sensor]. This allowed us a head start in developing a cast-iron workflow and a reliable DIT [Digital Imaging Technician] system.

In the early days 4K London was the first UK company to publicly demonstrate Red material transferred to 35mm film and 2K digital projection. We were also one of the first companies in the country to offer Red camera rental, DIT services and post-production work on a wide range of top commercials and pop promos for some of the leading commercials companies in the country (Academy, RSA, Gorgeous etc), working with leading brands such as Nike, Adidas, Mercedes, Bentley, Burberry & Sky, as well as music acts like The Sugababes & Katie Melua. We've also been increasingly involved in the use of the Red camera in the photographic world, working with legendary photographers like Mario Testino & Nick Knight.

In 2009 we completed one of the first Red-shot feature films in the UK (BBC Films & Slingshot's "Tormented"), which opened nationwide on over 230 screens. 4K London provided Red camera hire, full DIT services, and post-production for "Tormented".

As well as working on many Red-shot commercials & pop promos our highly skilled DITs have also serviced many major feature films & tv dramas such as the 3D blockbusters "Pirates of the Carribean 4: On Stranger Tides" & "The Amazing Spiderman", the Judge Dredd reboot "Dredd", the UK smash-hit "Streetdance 3D", the BAFTA-award winning tv series "Wallander" & "5 Daughters".

In addition 4K London also run basic & advanced Red camera training courses for DITs, DOPs & camera assistants (contact us for more info).

For any more information about Red camera hire, DIT services or post-production please contact 4K London on +44 (0)20 7220 2857 or via the email address info@4klondon.com

4K London Post also provide a proven post-production service to take your footage right through to the finishing format of your choice, even 35mm film prints (via our production partners such as MPC, Molinare, The Look & Deluxe). Our production partners can also grade your project at the highest quality level using Baselight, Quantel or Assimilate Scratch.

In early 2008, as soon as we took delivery of our Red One, we shot a test short film to demonstrate our post workflow right through to a 2K digital projection, which was successfully exhibited to an audience of industry professionals at the FDMX "Seeing Red" event in Cambridge, one of the first digitally projected exhibitions of Red material in the UK. Later on in 2008 we successfully transferred more Red material to a series of 35mm prints (with both 2K & 4K DI pipelines), which we exhibited to an audience of leading industry professionals, including DPs from the British Society of Cinematographers, at the Soho Screening Rooms. Subsequently 4K London Post went straight on to provide post-production services on the BBC Films/Slingshot feature film "Tormented", which was released on over 230 screens across the UK in May 2009. 4K London Post is based at Goldcrest Studios in Soho, London:
