.RCX and REDCine X

Just a quick question, nothing to do with the build or anything as I'm sure this is basic stuff but I haven't ever used REDCine..

How do I get a .rcx file or RAW footage off the RED straight into REDCine-X?
I can't seem for the life of me to do a "open -> navigate to RED footage -> select --> open". I'm guessing I need to jump through a hoop before I can do the "open" process?

Use the Clip Selection window (top right) to import clips into Redcine-X. You should be able to open saved .rcx files by using File>Open.
