i just had a request to make ProRes SD files. 720 X 486, but they asked to have it letterboxed, so that they can view their 16:9 framing.
so...how can i do this with red rushes? (they will be shooting 4K 2:1 with 16:9 frameguides).
If they were shooting 4K 16:9 full gate, I assume I could simply set 'fit width' in and they would get their SD ProRes letterboxed properly.
But...since the camera is 2:1, would those settings not put the whole 2:1 image within the 720 X 486 window? If this happened, their letterbox would NOT be the 16:9 framelines they shot with on set.....
Any help is greatly appreciated....
