hi,

i have a weird problem, and don't understand anything...

that's my third red short movie that i edit on my computer, so i start to understand the workflow with final cut.

i created a project in final cut, and as usual i open the "list and transfer" program in final cut. but for this movie, when i open the directories with the rushes, final cut don't open it (he is searching) and i have to force him to quit.

i've tried with the rushes of an old film, and it work. i've tried to open the actual rushes in redcine and it work...

what could be the problem and what is the issue ?

thanks in advance for your answers.

hahaha, found the problem,

the folder where the rushes were stocked was named "dernière démarque" and it seems that final cut doesn't like the accents, i just renamed it "derniere demarque" and it works... one night and one day deleting and rebuilding this folder, just to understand that it's because of accent... grrrrrrr

fine!

I think simple english capital characters are always OK!
thanx for sharing
