Ordering a Red

If I have a Red Ordered before the October time frame, and it is not registered under my name - would i still be eligible for the MX Upgrade?

As far as I know, every single R1 will be eligible for the MX upgrade, even those that are getting purchased now.
Just needs to wait its turn in line, depending on delivery date, and you off course have to wait till you get the email form RED telling you that that particular RED ONE is up for its turn to be upgraded.

I think the october dates were about the EpicX upgrades no? MX is an extra cost that can be applied to any camera once its number comes up...... at least thats what I thought.

Exactly, it has nothing to do with the MX upgrade.

Now that Epics are coming sooner than we thought, I have a feeling there will be fewer MX upgrades in the mid thousands of serial numbers, meaning you will probably be offered your MX upgrade by September.
