  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Opening EDL or XML file .r3d on REDCINE

After I edited on FCP can I open a EDL or XML file in REDCINE and work with the 4k .r3d files??? Will REDCINE assemble the files???
 
RedCine expects a specific XML format of the selected shots from editorial. It is the same as what is exported (Save as "xml"). It does not import EDL and it is not a conform tool. It is an intermediary prep tool for dailies and selects to prepare for a conform in another system.
