Hi all
Way back in 2008, I created a free application called Redemption for logging Red camera footage. For one reason or another, I stopped working on it (in fact, the website doesn't exist any more, though I still have a copy of the app and the original thread is here: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?9562-Redemption-by-Surreal-Road)
Anyway, I've been contemplating redoing it as a native Mac application (it was previously done as a runtime Filemaker application), but wanted to find out if people would find it useful.
As a very general overview, what it would be used for is:
What I don't want to do is replicate functionality that is already handled elsewhere. So if people think that this might be an application that would be useful on or off shoots, do reply here with your thoughts.

As a very general overview, what it would be used for is:
- Keeping a log of shots during a shoot
- Reading metadata from the footage itself
- Reading EDLs, for example to see which clips are used in an edit
- Provide exports, e.g. to a spreadsheet
What I don't want to do is replicate functionality that is already handled elsewhere. So if people think that this might be an application that would be useful on or off shoots, do reply here with your thoughts.
