  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Correction: my previous account (same username) was relabeled as guest. Can this be rectified?

Can you please delete the New account I created earlier this week? See attached.

And is there any chance on adding these options back in the account settings?
- Option to mark a Marketplace thread as SOLD . . . so as to make it inactive.
- Option to view threads in Descending or Ascending order. I prefer to view the most recent posts in a thread at the top.

My account "Ivan Verlaan" was also broken by the software update... couldn't register a new account here because that feature was turned off... posted to the RU Facebook page days ago with no response. I bet there are several in the same boat, but won't go through this effort - is there a bulk action that can be done? Hopefully this temp account works and @luffy is able to fix me up as well. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I’m in the same boat—I can log in with my old M Harvey account, but unable to view the forum or my account (or anything) when I do. @luffy are you able to fix and delete this temporary account?

Agree with @TempIvan above—probably a large number of people with the same problem who don’t have a way to communicate it. Maybe an email account can be set up for them to reach out to (rather than making a temporary account tied to an additional email address)?
 
@luffy Some of us were referred as "Senior Member" designation based on their contributions of assisting all with their knowledge, advice, etc. And, we were happy to be bestowed with that honor. Any thoughts in adding something like that in the future?

I have updated every account on forum now. No one should face this permission issues now :)

Looks to be working for me as well. Appreciate all the hard work that goes into a forum change (having done it myself many, many, many moons ago), not fun :)

It all looks much better, and clicking on "NEW POSTS" works better now.
