Some couples spent years to get to know each other before tying the knot, but Samantha and Windaus were separated for more than 10 years before they got married. This is a different kind of love story.

This is my 1st time ever using my Scarlet on a paid job. Comments welcome :)

Tim,

It's really nice. Composition, Look, Camera movement are all good. Interesting love story, it did seem a little slow.

Overall, you should be very proud.

There's a minor issue with tense:

"You don't think too much when you were young" --> Should be "You don't think too much when you are young"

"We argued about somthing really insignificant" --> should be "something"

"Sometimes thing has its own way to work it out" is awkward --> "Sometimes a thing has a way of working itself out" or "Sometimes things have a way of working themselves out" might be better.

"We have lost contact for many...many years" --> You could omit the word "have".

"We have the fortunate and fate to be together again" --> Change "fortunate" to "fortune".

"With God helps.." --> should be "With God's help..."

It seems you deliberately chose not to use any punctuation, perhaps as a style thing, so I didn't go into any of that.

I think I got them all. :001_smile:

Nicely done!

Did you shoot 4K?

What was your post workflow?

Nice color grade!

Thanks Brian... Feel like English 101 all over again! haha.. but I'll definitely revise it ASAP. Thanks for your help.

Peter - Thanks for the comments. Yes, I shot everything in 4K (except a few shots on the glidecam are actually shot in 5diii). Post is done in Premiere CS6. Very smooth edit as long as the playback resolution is at 1/4. Color graded in Redcine only. After editing in CS6, I exported a XML and graded in Redcine

I really liked that little love story :) Those shots of them just missing each other were beautiful! Nice work.

hey man, very nice and tastefully done.

For next time: watch your tripod bubble-level - some shots are a few degrees off (skyline), and I think not intentionally. Its' an easy thing to forget in a hurry, but important!

but... You're really good at this.
