  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

[FS: RED Cameras] MONSTRO VV FOR SALE - $72,750 USD OBO

This is the second Monstro I see here for 67K, basically brand new.

Maybe 65K is the right price for new Monstro brain? I don‘t know.

But seeing this price dump is insane IMHO.

$80k

I don't think anybody has paid that yet, its all been Weapon + 30k as far as I know so far.

True, most folks got their Monstro through upgrade.
Nevertheless, advertised price is 80K and that is what counts. So selling for 67K is a massiv reduction which does not do Red and good.

Guess it's kinda like a car at this point. 13K off seems reasonable BUT since theres only a few in the wild maybe not. It is used though so.

How much are Red Weapon Heliums Carbon Fiber 8Ks going on for now?

I know they are not many as well (but more than VV)

What are they selling now for? Just the brain.

Just so you guys know there are people who have paid 10000 USD in 2015 at NAB for VV upgrade. They were standing in line ever since and when MOnstro became largely awailable they all got their weapon brains upgraded for that 10k.
So prices like this should not be surprising in the near future. Especially when you a a MOnstro owner realise that most of your lenses does not even cover the sensor .
