I've had my Scarlet-X for almost 2 months and after testing it without any glitches, I tried it out on a shoot. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm more than satisfied. I did, however, encounter two small issues.

1. At one point, the touch screen displayed a split screen at 1/3 of the image with the left side showing what should have been on the right side of the screen. I rebooted and it was gone. Not a big deal but it kind of worried me.
2. The audio faded in and out for half a second once in a while during the first take. I stopped the shoot and checked if the fades could be heard in Redcine and Premiere and they could. I recorded the audio on an external recorder for the rest of the shoot without a glitch. Rode NTG-2 plugged into Wooden Camera's A-Box adapter.

Anyone else encounter these problems? Running firmware 3.0.

Is the in-camera audio limiter switched on?

I had same issue sometimes too. Mostly is good to zoom view to 1:1 and then back.

Audio limiter was on so that must be it. I switched it off a while ago but it probably went back to the default setting after the firmware upgrade. It's surprising considering that the fades happened when the audio was nowhere near the peaking level. Thanks!
