Mic on DSMC2 with 4.7" LCD

Anyone figured out a reasonable way to mount a mic to a DSMC2 camera with the 4.7" screen mounted on top? Mounting on the new outrigger handle would have been nice but there isn't enough clearance with the screen installed.

Seems like you'd either have to move the monitor onto an arm and then mount the mic up top, or possibly mount the mic to the side using something like this side mounting plate: https://elementtechnica.com/product/et-weapon-mini-side-plate/

I think I saw a top handle from Wooden Camera? or some other manufacturer that allows you to mount a rod crossways off the top handle for mounting a microphone or other accessory.

You could also try the Wooden Camera offset adaptor to mount it off to the side...
