So I'm sure that Red and the crew are already tackling this issue and are well aware of it since they are pretty dang smart and are obviously capable of running a company without my help.
But I had another thought occur to me today.
It would be really nice to have the settings in motion capture mode and still capture mode to sync and for those settings to accurately produce the same exact image result across the modes.
For instance, say we've got a shot set up that is going to need a clean plate still for some sort of composite or effects shot. So we could get a clean still grab of the scene in still mode at higher quality (i am assuming) and then get a matching motion capture shot seconds later that matches exactly in color/luminance/etc.
My point is, in case it hasn't been addressed yet, I wanted to bring up the possible issue. So having each mode carry over settings from the previous used mode (unless disabled in the settings) and that these settings would produce identical results across modes for the same settings would be awesome.
