Didn't really know where to put this, but I will add some pictures so I guess it's in the right place.

I ordered my EPIC X this Friday 27 September, with the Help of my RED Europe - Bomb Squad Rep, Sam! Great, great support! Thank you!
Delivery was scheduled for Tuseday 1 October at 18:00 pm. HOWEVER! This morning (monday 30), at 10:00 am I hear a large vehicle outside my apartment, look out and see the FedEx logo on the hood.
WTF!!! They must have busted their asses to make it ship this quick!! I'm am beyond words, really!!
I tried to ask the FedEx guy how this is possible, but he just laughed and said he was glad that I was satisfied.

I've been having hateful feelings towards UPS for a long time, and now FedEx proves me right. It's possible to ship something without loosing it or delaying it.

I am so crazy-grateful, and now I have two boxes, patiently waiting for the knife, on my living room floor.... :D My head is spinning!!

PS. Thanks also to Andreas Öberg, with whom I met and talked RED experiences and tips n trick!! Best of luck to you and N with your project!!

Had a similar experience one time with FedEx. I was shipping a package and entered the information using my online account. TWO MINUTES later there is a knock at the door, it's the FedEx driving there for the pickup. I hadn't even packed the box yet! Stunned, I asked how it was possible since I work from home and live out in the countryside. He said he was right around the corner. Even so, how is it possible for the signal to travel from my office, to FedEx, to routing, to dispatch, to the driver, for him to literally be knocking on my door in two minutes? That was a bit freaky! He had to wait around until I packed the box and apply the label.
