Hey! Does anyone have a list of people/companies with 3D rigs in Europe? Preferably handheld rigs.

There are a few around. Onsight, Panavision are the most obvious ones for hires of rigs on their own. There are side-by-side rigs available in a few different places too.

Not yet out, but the upcoming rig from E3D will kick EVERYone else's "you know what", when it comes to the ease of shooting 3D in every aspect.

I see them as being the first and only one to have a "wheel" (metaphorically speaking) for shooting 3D.

Imagine the day we can slap 2 cameras on a 3D rig (say an EPIC and an F3 if that's all you got) and maybe a master prime on one...and a RED Pro Prime. Then, aligning those two images vertically/horizontally/etc. all in under 3 minutes...without having to manually put your hand on the cameras/lenses/rig itself.

KETCH ROSSi STUDiOS in Italy will have multiple 3D rigs, including 3 ET's Atom, of which the first one should come with us next week, as well as E3D new Speedrig, later this Summer.

We currently have the P+S Technik Freestyle Evolution Rig with cmotion cvolution wireless control of Rig IO & Convergence as well full as Focus, Iris and Zoom control. We are based in London UK.

Yes... that day is actually... today.

BSkyB is currently testing the IntelleCam and IntelleCal technology we showed at NAB and are going to go live with it next week on a rugby match. Almost 10x systems - all systems aligned from a central unit in the truck in under 5 minutes (for zooms) and without the need for convergence operators.
