Really? So which one would you choose?

Between the two, the LG. LG has the most sophisticated set of tools for calibrating the display. They also have true 10 bit color.

Thanks for the valuable information!

eeek!

eeek!

They are both televisions.

Eeeeek!

I’m still trying to find suitable replacements for our CRTs!

ANY RECOMENDATIONS!!!!

For years we have been looking for 3d capable monitors that we can supply with our software etc.

I have seen the LG’s too at BestBuy, the imagery looked nice BUT appears to have a chunky low res look about it.
I understand that it is horizontally interlaced…

Does anyone have a vague idea as to what the equivalent horizontal and vertical resolution of the LG’s are/is in stereo mode.

All of the software we developed right now uses frame sequential (page flipped/quad buffered) type Open GL. In the past we used Cyviz converter boxes to convert frame sequential to dual passive. Our software uses TWO monitors both running in page flipped stereo.

Anybody have any idea if Nvidia implemented an in card frame sequential to Dual passive output?

I am assuming the LG TVs/”monitors” only accept a dual passive type input, and I am also guessing that the Nvidia cards might only be able to drive a single dual passive monitor?

Do the DVI to HDMI cable converters work well?

Anything that anybody knows about this topic would be greatly appreciated (no matter how smaller scrap of info)?

Cheers,

Eric

Would be nice to have something that is dual passive (easy on the eye), but high res but not break the bank?
