I am shooting my Red Komodo, and the Pictures are stunning.

I am less impressed with the Record Button placement...

I shoot mostly handheld, with a Viewfinder. On my right shoulder. And the record button on the body is Right Rear. meaning I need to take the camera off of my shoulder to hit record.

I am looking for a way to attached a handgrip record button to my Shape Telescopic Hand Grip.

I have an Arri Rosette Shape version too, so, I could use the portkeys handgrip, or something similiar. But at this stage, they do not seem to support Red Komodo.

Mostly. All I need is Rec button.

Any ideas...?

Kind Thanks,

I second the Nine Volt option. I agree that it's pricey but the quality is great and it's been bulletproof for me on a number of different setups.

The Nine Volt run/stop trigger looks quite useful: https://nine-volt.com/collections/all/products/copy-of-run-stop-trigger-for-red-komodo-cable-version

Out of stock though, and pretty expensive for what it is I think. The nice thing about this is that you can position the start/stop anywhere within 15" of the EXT port.

I don't own one, but I have purchased some of their sdi cables and they are really good quality.
