Hello,

Why is it if I shoot prores and enter playback or ingest into NLE its in log? While shooting RAW the image plays back with a lut and carries over into davinci with a lut as well.

That’s not a LUT. It’s Resolve applying whatever settings you’ve chosen for R3D under the camera raw settings tab of the project settings. If you haven’t chosen any, then it’s defaulting to camera metadata. The log image is baked into the prores, and again, with the default yrgb color science, Resolve isn’t applying a LUT or doing any other color management.
