Im looking for a better way to transport c-stands on set. Just a few 4-6. Perpaps there is a nice box with wheels that doesn't way a ton. Or perhaps some small wagon or good case.

Would be great if you could post images.

Making something like that shouldn't be too hard with things you can find at Lowes/Home Depot.

This seams like a good sulotion. If we build it it will be smaller and for 6 stands instead. Ideally some kind a case around everything to make it slide better when offloadind if from a car.

So it would look a alot like a garbagecan. Will even check for one to se if there is any with good dimensions.

Or like Ulf said get some c+ stands to get better options to shrink the case even more.

I use a light weight aluminum convertible hand truck from Menards. A full apple box at the bottom props the legs up so they don't drag on the ground. Our hand truck leans back on two small wheels giving it more stability. Ratchet straps and carabiner type bungies (Stay away from hook type bungies - they'll poke your eye out) hold the whole thing together. We get 5 40" C stands and a couple 20" stands on that setup as well as free storage for an apple box.

I am currently traveling with a Tenba 48 inch case with c-stands. Its a pretty good soft case and has been holding up well. Flew maybe 15 times with it so far.

OK, I have to say this. C Stands are just never gonna be "elegant".

Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Have some of these and they are great. Airlines are a bit rough with em though...
