I'm an apple man, but...

I'm an apple man to the core, but has anyone ever heard of hypersonic?

My brother in law just cued me in to these computer manufactures. this looks like speed you could paint spots on and hunt gazelles with. Dual 512mb video cards in a laptop with 3 internal INTERNAL hard drives with the option to RAID them.

If this company is good, apple needs to buy them and put leopard on it.

Anyone have any experience?

How could you let your sister marry a PC GUY?

Seriously. this is the dream machine for anyone who does 3D work., but with all those drives you could copy 40 full CF cards to that RAID.

I think this notebook may be powerful, but if you put everything in (dual graphic card, three hard-disks) it must make like 60dB idle and 85dB when rendering!!!

I just configured one of those Hypersonic laptops to over $8,000!

I think I'll wait for the next MacBook Pro to be released.

Yes, I'm looking at Micro ATX cases that accept less expensive/higher performing desktop components. I can add a pelican box with wheels to cart it around and still have enough left for a nice long European vacation.

Here is the mobo I'm looking at, support both present and upcoming 45nm chips.
