Good write up. As someone who's shot 3 features for $100k or less, I totally understand what you were up against.

Domenic, really enjoyed reading your write up, thanks for sharing all that went into the project. Good luck with it going forward.

Thanks guys for the feedback :)

Really nice write up, Domenic. Thanks for sharing.
I am curious what dolly it was you were using, was it DIY? looks really ideal size and form..

Hey guys, heres a massive blog write up I just did on shooting a feature with 2 dragons. lots of good insight as well as some bts pictures, stills from the footage etc. If you have a few mins and wanna check it out, I'd be thrilled if you could check it out :)

The color stills look very nice. Let us know when you have a trailer up.

Thanks for sharing. :o) Congratulations as well!

It was the Dana dolly. An amazing piece of gear to have :)

You're welcome

Ahh That's very nice :) i'm patiently waiting to see what kessler's shuttle dolly will be priced at, since i wouldn't need to adapt the motion control mount onto it, but it's nice to see a competitively priced option.

do you use the low boy mount, or did you fix the rails on apple boxes? just wondering how much wobble there might be..

thanks again for sharing about your project!

Either on low boys, apples, ground etc. it's easy to mount. And it has a center support as well so for longer runs of rail you can use the support to steady it. 12ft runs no problem. :)
