How much Hard Drive Space?

I'm gearing up for a feature that will run 25 days and was wondering what the average consumption of data for a RED ONE MX feature (23.98fps@RC36_4K).

I'm gonna triple back up everything and have a weeks worth of footage on a laptop as a forth temporary back up.

How much space do you shoot on a day to day basis?

Generally on a 20 - 27 day feature shoot ive been averaging about 6TB of footage give or take 1 TB

Daily basis between 250gb and as high as upper 400 gb all dependent on how many cameras how late we go and whats being shot.
These numbers are only general, there are many situations where you can tower that but not common.

4K HD RC36 is my flavor of choice when delivering a 1080p final

I triple backup my self so i triple that in drives.

we are shooting with one camera so it won't be a multi-cam shoot. The Director is aiming on 3 Takes per shot but that can always change.

Cool so 250GB-400GB a day copy that!
