Hot Battery Swap

Does the Scarlet have an internal battery that allows hot swapping of a Redvolt or any other battery without actually powering down the camera?

No. but brook has a solution for this if you are going to be using vmount batteries.

If i am not mistaken, if you are using RED Volts on the side handle, you can plug the AC cable while you exchange the RED Volt by aother without needing to power down the camera. Or if you are using V Mount Batteries, you can always keep one RED Volt inside the side handle, and also exchange your V Mount without having to power the camera down.

you are correct. we keep a redvolt in the side handle that lets us pull the v mount battery without loosing power
